At December 19th 2021, Conceição successfully defended her PhD thesis at the University of Porto in Portugal 'The evidence of aquatic therapy for painful shoulder disability. 7 studies, ranging from a case study to a large cohort intervention study, in addition to biomechanical research about the effect of buoyancy aids have been submitted to various journals and will hopefully be published in 2020..
